The table is attractive and easy to clean. I should have chosen a granite or other solid surface material because the table is much too lightweight. I guess I'll look for something to put under the legs to keep it in its place. This review is from: Hillsdale Monaco Round Faux Marble Top Dining Table with 48-Inch Diameter, Matte Espresso (Kitchen) Bought this item after failing to find an American manufacturer to make me a cultured marble table top. Delivery process was fine, but table was less than I expected. Base is totally unusable, as it is so light that it could be considered dangerous. Placing a 36 pound round object on top of an 8 pound base can be problematic if you have ANY balance issues. Consequently, top had to have material added to underside in order to adapt for use with a different pedestal base. I was expecting a biege with brown top, got a brown with biege one--way too dark for space. Will have to repaint the room and hope for the best. Too early to tell if the top itself will hold up. Would send it back, but I already had the backside altered.
